Bob & Family

Answering to Shutterhero's request, here's something I've just came out with. Here's a family portrait I've just completed for my cousins. Bob is into videography while Hezekiah is a soon to be Pastor. Oh wait! He is already one now.

Anyway, this is one of my few tasks in family portraits so rate it ya.

More sunset with Amie

Though Jenn & I were to leave KK on the early Sunday morning flight, I got to shoot some more sunsets with Amie & Impedius the day before.

Finally I got to meet up with Amie, Misslamau & Impedius (Jenn's schoolmates) who are also into photography. Though it was a quick one, I appreciate the time that Ramesh(a good friend from Uni years) took to meet up with me. I saw some nice shot of the sunset from his blog.

To Amie & Ampedius, thanks for modeling for me...hehehe.. Too bad your sister wasn't around. Otherwise, I'd have a shot of her portrait too. Maybe next time then...

In the mean time, I'll leave you all with these favorites.

Burger King

Wish we have Burger King in Miri lah. As I recall, we use to have one outlet many years back when I was in my early secondary years. I don't know for what reason, it closed down. For me and many Mirian friends, for as long as we're in KK, Burger King is a must to stop by.

This is a heart cries from one of the many people of Miri! Open an outlet in Miri pleeaaasse... Such glory to be united with Burger King once again.

If you happen to be in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, here's a place you should go check out!

Located at the new City Mall, The Big Apple Donuts & Coffee is the place to chill. This is gonna be a very quick post coz the photo below will tell you the story. Variety of donuts to choose from, inner filled with chocolate, peanut butter etc.

Good Friday...

Happy Easter everyone..

Being in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, over the weekend has been a thrilling experience for me, especially after getting the chance to 'shoot' the sunset at the Tanjung Aru Beach. It rained heavily when Jenn & I arrived on Wednesday evening and the same goes on Thursday afternoon which dampens my hope to take shots of the sunset.

Though it began to rain on the Friday afternoon, it stopped right after church (Good Friday service). T'was amazing. So, I finally get to witness the sunset from the Tanjung Aru beach (in good weather this time). Thanks to Jenn's family for taking me there. We had a good time of course. Good food, lots of stalls..

Oh ya.. that reminded me of the stall I commended on my Flickr...Click HERE. If you go there now, U'll notice all the wording that I mentioned has been covered with masking tapes. Sorry I didn't get to take a picture of it coz we were laughing our lungs out at the sight of it. Well..I guess some people did really told the owner about it aei!

Anyway,I managed to take few sips of Carrot Milk juice (from a HUGE glass) which cost about Rm4 and some tasty Satay. I head straight to the beach right after coz was excited and did not want to miss 'capturing' the sun and all its glory.

Here you go... and again, Happy Easter.

Tuaran & Tamparuli, Sabah

I thank the Lord for good weather over the weekend stay in Sabah which enables me to take some satisfying pictures around. Jenn's dad brought me around Tuaran & Tamparuli. Located 30 minutes from Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran offers some nice sceneries. I manage to capture some more shots of buffaloes, feeding cows by the roadsides and horses which you hardly can find in Miri. Can only be near the horses but can't ride em.

The beach at Syahbandar is simply peaceful. Check out the place if you happen to be in Sabah kay...

Ever heard of the "Jambatan Tamparuli" song? Well..I had the opportunity to walk across it. The photo you see below is the new constructed 'hangin bridge'. A must for visitors to experience.
